By using Shortlist you agree to these terms.
Price and billing
Shortlist shows a price of £14 per month. This price has not been activated. You will not be charged anything. Before any charge is introduced, we will give you clear advance notice and ask for your explicit agreement.
No affiliation with any firm
Shortlist is an independent preparation tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Accenture, or any other firm mentioned on the site. Firm names appear only to identify the recruiting standards we calibrate against.
No guarantee of outcome
Using Shortlist does not guarantee you an interview, an offer, or any other outcome in any application process. The analysis and feedback is generated by an AI model and is intended as one input to your preparation. It reflects a calibrated view of consulting recruitment criteria — it is not a definitive verdict on any individual application, and it will not be right in every case.
Practice questions
The numerical reasoning, mental maths, and market sizing exercises on Shortlist are original questions created in the general style of consulting aptitude tests. They are not affiliated with any firm's assessment programme and do not replicate the content of any actual test.
Your content
You retain full ownership of any CV or cover letter you submit. We do not claim any rights over your content. As described in the privacy policy, the text of your CV and cover letter is not stored. The report generated from your submission is stored, and it describes and quotes parts of your CV.
Availability
Shortlist is provided as-is. We make no commitment to uptime or continuity of service, and may change, suspend, or close the service at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change we will notify you by email if you have an account. Continued use of Shortlist after a change is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
